One of the new features of 7.4 Land software version is the ability to download GPS tracks directly from various online servers. Initially, this feature has been launched with two of the major outdoor sport routes portals such: GPSies and EveryTrail. In the future, We will extend online track providers with other sites as TraceGPS, RouteYou, and much more.
This new option allows user to download routes uploaded by outdoor communities and enjoy unknown trails or get some references for never visited places. You will off course only get access to public data, with no privacy restriction.
This cool new feature is available form “online files” section inside Land data tree.
The track search is based on current geo referenced position displayed in software main window. For example, if Land focus the map on Girona area and select GPSies provider, we will get all the trails form this provider on that particular area.
After moving the map, we will always get the chance to press the right mouse button over the provider icon and select “refresh” to get routes of the new area.
Download a track is as easy as clicking the right mouse button over it and select “open“. We may also review all the properties of the track or use the numerous features Land offers us such as edition and analysis tools.
Remember that you also can use Dropbox to store routes in the cloud and get access to them directly from TwoNav navigation software without the need to waste your hard drive space.
We really hope this have been helpful!
