Did you know that Land 8… lets you customize windows and toolbars?

We’re rolling out a section that will really interest you. As you know, the new Land 8 maintains the features of the previous Land (when something works well, why change it?) but they are presented and managed in a much more intuitive way. In the coming weeks we will be showing you these little innovations that make it an even more responsive program. Here we have the first edition for you!

Did you know that with Land 8 you can customize windows and toolbars?

Land has several windows and toolbars that you can customize.

1-800x467

You can show or hide different elements from the main toolbar, basically the following:

  • Data Tree
  • Properties window
  • Graphics window

2

In addition to showing or hiding, you can also choose what position they are shown in:

  • Right
  • Left
  • Below
  • Floating

6-800x431

This can be selected by clicking on the right mouse button.

7

When there is more than one window on one side, you can select whether they appear in tabs or stacked.

8

You can reselect by right clicking on the name of a window.

9

The favorite bars and viewing tools can also be customized:

– Favorites: show/hide

10

11

– Viewing tools: vertical / horizontal.

13-800x187

The “window” section from the main menu also allows you to enable / disable the main windows, as well as to access the advanced tools, like:

  • Create New Window: Open a new independent map window to have more than one view at the same time
  • Thumbnail: Overview of all the elements loaded.
  • Zoom: A close-up of the place indicated by the cursor.
And remember: if you want to try out this function, you can download the new Land 8 free here.
