TwoNav is an endless number of possibilities, fully compatible with almost all existing formats.
As an example, you can find attached the track of the 3rd stage of the 2011 Transpyr course (a mountain bike competition which took place in the Pyrenees). As you can see on the track, the length of the course is 130 km. A grand total of 8.268 trackpoints where recorded between the start and the end of the course. In other words, a trackpoint was marked every 15 meters. With TwoNav you can even record trackpoints every 10 meters.
*In case you want to modify trackpoint intervals you will need to change Tracklog characteristics (‘Settings > Navigation > Tracklog’).
TwoNav is one of the few softwares which offers these kind options. At the same time our application has an infinite space to upload and record your own tracks. Some softwares have uploading limitations for tracks, waypoints or even for trackpoints. On the other hand, TwoNav offers an unlimited capacity. Therefore, if there was a restriction of 2.000 trackpoints, in our example, a trackpoint would be created every 65 meters. In contrast, TwoNav is giving you a trackpoint for each 15 meters.
As a complement, you can also use Land to create your waypoints and detailed tracks, once your have finished your work, you will be able to transfer them to your TwoNav application. Once uploaded to TwoNav you will be able to enjoy a 100% detailed navigation. Another interesting suggestion is to download free tracks from Wikiloc or EveryTrail and use them on your own application.
Here you have the TwoNav manual to know all the possibilities offered by this unique software. At sections 6.4. and 6.5. of Land manual you will be able to find information related to the tracks and waypoints managements.
