Expansion of map format compatibility
TwoNav has always been characterized by the willingness to offer many options to have the best map for every occasion. This year we have incorporated multiple formats:
*.MBTiles raster
*.ECW now also on devices
*.COG Cloud Optimized GeoTiff in Land
Improvements in FastTrack in Land
FastTrack is a practical Land tool to expedite the creation of new tracks using vector map paths such as OSM or TomTom. Its use has been simplified, and configuration options have been added to automatically add maneuvers or consider road restrictions. In addition, the possibility of performing FastTrack on other tracks has been added, making it very easy to copy sections from other tracks.
Download content from Strava
The new connection of Land with Strava allows you to download content such as activities, routes, and your favorite segments or from anywhere. With the segments loaded on the map, you can plan your routes to pass through that area and, during navigation, know exactly where they are to monitor your efforts.

Graph on map
Have the most relevant information at a glance without changing pages. With the addition of the graph in the map window, control over the third dimension, altitude, is achieved so that you can regulate your efforts.

Route folder management
To keep your collection of routes well organized on your TwoNav GPS or App, you can create folders and add your tracks inside.

Auto-Pause
Many of you have asked us for this functionality to forget about having to press the pause button during stops on your outings. TwoNav devices use accelerometer movement information to automatically pause and unpause the activity.

Creation and navigation of waypoint routes
Now it is possible to create tracks that are sequences of waypoints (roadbook points), without detailed intermediate paths. In this way, you will have the reference of the next point, and its direction will be indicated. This system is compatible with old *.RTE files. In addition, with a simple press on the ‘Info Next’ panel, you can choose between seeing the icon or the direction arrow to the next point, even in roadbooks with detailed routes.

Altitude calculation optimization
Data accuracy is very relevant in performance control during activities. TwoNav has incorporated filters and settings to be able to adjust altitude calculations in the best way according to the device and activity.

Display improvements
TwoNav aims to offer the best solutions for all platforms, whether computers, smartphones, tablets, or GPS devices. To adapt to all environments and conditions, functionalities for adapting user interface sizes, waypoints, and roadbook texts have been incorporated. In addition, file lists have been reorganized to improve agility and clarity.

Sharing improvements
Passing information between different platforms is essential to have the files you need where you need them and to be able to share them with other users. The TwoNav App has incorporated the ‘Send File’ function linked to any phone application. In addition, it is possible to share track links (URLs) with other users so they can take a look at the route on http://go.twonav.com without installing anything. Also, Land and http://go.twonav.com allow you to configure a track to be downloaded to any TwoNav device and have it available there.
Optimizations and issue resolution
In addition to new features, TwoNav makes a constant effort to solve problems that may arise, optimize processes such as synchronization with the GO cloud, and adapt to new operating systems. Android 13 has posed a challenge in some areas such as Bluetooth communication, and progress has been made in MacOS that we hope will bear fruit in 2024.
Maps
New maps and numerous updates
In 2023, important maps have been updated such as Spain Topo, Great Britain Topo, Alpina, Piolet, Fraternali, elTossal, or TomTom. We are always looking for new cartography to add to the catalog, such as the specialized maps Arge from Nepal and Bildkartographie from Germany.
