Land 10: What’s new?

Land 10 arrives full of new features designed so that you can guarantee your safety in any terrain you are preparing to discover. Plan and analyze your routes more easily with new tools that you will only find in this update. Try all features free for 30 days:

DATA TREE SIMPLIFICATION

The aesthetics are redefined for a cleaner display of all the contents of the tree. Colors are added to the categories to identify them more clearly within the tree. This way, with Land 10, you will identify the elements that interest you most and you will be able to focus on them.

DATA TREE: ONLINE FILES

Another important change that affects the Land 10 data tree is the redistribution of the ‘Online files’ section. This section disappears and is integrated into each of the ‘Activities’ , ‘Routes’ and ‘Maps’ categories, achieving a more practical and logical organization. For example, now you will find ‘Online maps’ in the ‘Maps’ category.

WEATHER MAPS

Land 10 includes several worldwide weather maps so you can know the weather conditions anywhere on the planet. With them, you can check the weather forecast with specialized maps for temperature, cloud cover, precipitation, wind, fresh snow, hours of sunlight…

Open the weather maps by clicking ‘Open map > Meteo_forecast.wmap‘.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR A SPECIFIC LOCATION

Suppose you’re planning a hike in the Pyrenees; with this feature, you can select any point along your route, and Land 10 will display a table with the weather forecast for the selected location several days ahead, with data on temperature, wind, precipitation, and much more.

ROADABLE OPENSTRETMAP MAP INCLUDED

With the high-quality OpenStreetMap routeable map with global coverage, you will create your routes in just a few clicks. On the OpenStreetMap map you will find the most important urban roads and mountain roads in each country. Use the ‘FastTrack‘ tool on the OpenStreetMap map to create your routes in just a few clicks. Create your route by marking the start and finish point of the activity and then the ‘FastTrack‘ function will take care of generating your route. ‘FastTrack’ will add waypoints and descriptions in the most important maneuvers of the route.

The OpenStreetMap map is only available in Premium, Pro subscriptions and the Land 10 license.

SHARE AND DOWNLOAD ROUTES FROM THE TWONAV COMMUNITY

Share your best routes with the entire TwoNav community so that other users can download them. Once synchronized with GO, you must access go.twonav.com and publish the activities you want to share. You can also download routes for the area you are going to visit from other TwoNav users. From the Land 10 data tree, press ‘Routes > Online routes > TwoNav GO‘.

NEW PROPERTIES FOR WAYPOINTS

Customize waypoints and roadbook points to your liking. From now on in Land 10 you will also be able to change the size, color and position of the icons as well as their background color.

Additionally, if you modify any waypoint property, you can decide at what level you want to apply these changes: to a specific waypoint, to all waypoints contained within a waypoint file, or to have the changes applied by default to any waypoint you have. you believe from now on.

NEW USER INTERFACE

Land 10 brings with it a completely renewed and more current iconography. This redesign has been designed to improve your user experience when preparing your routes. The new icons are more intuitive and modern, making it easier for you to prepare and access the most important functions of Land.
