Improvements to the automatic track creation tool

Land lets you create tracks automatically using the FastTrack tool. In Land 11, we’ve simplified how it works: simply mark the start and end of your track or specify the points you want to pass through along the route, without having to create it point by point.

You can also choose between a faster or shorter route and decide whether the calculation can use streets in the opposite direction or exclusively pedestrian areas, adapting the route to your type of activity.

Important: To use the ‘FastTrack’ tool, make sure you have an OpenStreetMap or TomTom map installed.

Enhance your roadbooks more easily

The new ‘Create waypoints by dragging’ feature in the Land 11 button bar gives you access to an icon library so you can create your roadbooks much faster and more easily. Drag an icon from the library onto the track and you’ll automatically create a roadbook point. Repeat the process until your roadbook is complete.

You can also use the same feature to create waypoints on the map. Simply drag an icon from the collection and drop it at the exact point on the map where you want to identify a key location along the route.

Dark mode

Land 11 introduces the new ‘Dark mode’, providing a more comfortable viewing option when working in low-light environments. Activate it from ‘Menu > View > Dark mode’.

More workspace for you

The button bars in Land 11’s map window are now floating, leaving more usable space to prepare your routes. This lets you make better use of the available space and gives you a larger map area, especially useful when exploring the map and editing routes.

Customise the Land interface

With Land 11, you can customise the colours of your buttons to adapt the program’s interface to your preferences. Change the colours of the tool icons to identify them more quickly and highlight the ones you use most.

Redesigned button bar

Land 11 reorganises the button bar so the most frequently used features are easier to find, while reducing the presence of less commonly used options.

The most important actions, such as creating waypoints or creating and editing tracks, take centre stage and are easier to identify, providing a cleaner and more practical workspace.

Show only the online routes you’re interested in

Land 11 adds filters to the properties of the OpenRunner and Public Routes by TwoNav online route providers, making it easier to find routes that really suit your needs with filters for sport, distance and elevation gain. Use them to quickly rule out routes that don’t fit your plans and focus only on those that may interest you.
