4 Routes 1 Destiny. Day 2

Stage 2 marks half of the challenge, the two teams arrived halfway after an exceptional day.

HIKE TEAM

The HIKE team passed through the beautiful town of Betanzos and through countless villages where the path is lived with passion and, when they passed, the locals cheered them on with the shout: GOOD WAY !! The beautiful eucalyptus forests made the constant positive slope of today’s stage more bearable. The team has taken the opportunity to collect garbage from the road (also known as Plogging) and thus raise awareness of the fragility of our environment and how important it is to take care of it in order to continue enjoying it.

BIKE TEAM

The BIKE team, for its part, faced the hardest stage, 85 km with more than 1,500 meters of positive elevation gain. Very long ports of up to 13 km and slopes of up to 10% to climb ports such as Alto de San Roque and, above all, the mythical O’Cebreiro, have been the tonic of the day, but not everything is suffering, visit Ponferrada and its Templar castle and enjoying the Galician landscape make the French Way an unforgettable experience.

We have already overcome the equator of the challenge # 4Routes1Destiny!
