Land: Create tracks more intuitively
From now on it will be much easier to create a track for your next activity. Land now provides you with distance and ascent data while you plan your route. Discover how:
We released a new vector track editor, where it appears horizontally just below the toolbar (previously it appeared vertically next to the toolbar). Follow these steps to try it now:
1 – Click on ‘Create track’ in the toolbar, located in the upper part of Land.
2 – Once the vector track editor is displayed, press ‘New track’.
3 – Then, a window will open where you can add basic data of the track that you have to mark: name, type of activity and colour of the track line.
4 – Once defined, create the first track point exactly where you want to start your route.
5 – Then, click on the map somewhere else and you will automatically create the second point of your itinerary. Repeat the same action until you reach your destination point. As you create the points, you will see how the distance and ascension data will calculate automatically in the toolbar.
6 – Before finalising your itinerary, press the ‘Properties’ button to consult more properties of the track to complement it with even more information like description, add attachments, difficulty, thick line of the track etc.
7 – Finish creating your route, by clicking the ‘Finish edition’ button.
