Land: More precise tools to edit tracks

If you are among those who like to edit tracks and add shortcuts, with this new version of Land, you’ll notice that we have made some improvements to this tool. You will gain agility and precision in editing. Read on to find out more:

Up until now, when you wanted to edit a track, you had to right click and select ‘Edit track’, only being able to edit the selected track and one at a time.

In this new version of Land 9, by pressing ‘Edit track’ in the toolbar, all the tracks opened in the map window will enter ‘Edit’ mode. This means from now on you can edit all the tracks you want at one time, giving you more agility and without having to jump from track to track, opening and closing menus continuously.

In addition, Land 9 improves the accuracy of the following tools for the vector track editor:

Track points and cursors: The usability of the editing process has improved with a new redesign and effects to achieve a better user experience during editing

Redraw freehand track: Use this tool to remove parts of the track by redrawing it. Instead of deleting the track points one by one and marking them again, place the cursor at the point from which you want to start another path and click. Then draw freehand the new route layout (the previous points will be removed as you redraw the itinerary).

Add track points: Activated by default when creating and editing a track. Now, with this same tool activated you can also select, move or delete points from the track.

Add intermediate track points: The accuracy of the tool is improved.

Furthermore, now you can also access the vector track editor from the properties of each of your tracks, giving you even more accessibility.

Remember that you can add more tools in the vector track editor, just right click on the bar and press ‘Customize’.
