Happy International Nurses Day! The International Council of Nurses (ICN) has celebrated this day since 1965. In January 1974, 12 May was chosen to celebrate the day as it is the anniversary of the birth of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. Each year, ICN prepares and distributes the International Nurses’ Day Kit.

The International Council of Nurses’ theme for Nurses Week is “Nurses: A Voice to Lead.” This year, more than ever, we are looking to your voices and ideas for innovations and improvements to elevate nursing practice and define what it means to provide compassionate, connected care.

Since COVID-19 entered our daily basics, we decided last year at TwoNav to help the medical staff of Catalunya by launching the campaign “TwoNav cares. Together against the coronavirus!” and helped in the production of face shields using our own 3D printers.

Today we want to thank every medical worker before, during and after COVID-19 and a special shoutout to Silvia Roura and Agnèes Marcoux, our warrior women ambassadors.
